The following items are prohibited and cannot be sent using any of our professional freight services.

  • Weapons/Detonators/Weapon Parts
  • Fire Extinguishers
  • Safety Matches/Torch or Cigarette Lighters
  • Air bags for Cars
  • Life Jackets & Self-Inflating Rafts
  • Seat-belts & seat-belt pretensioners
  • Camping Stoves and Fuel containers
  • Flammable Items
  • Fuel (Cooking fuel or any other flammable liquids)
  • Paint Solvent Based flamable/Turpentine (WATER BASED PRODUCT IS ACCEPTABLE)
  • Compressed Air/Gas Cylinders
  • Gasoline
  • Aerosols/Perfumes
  • Mercurial Barometer or Thermometer
  • Hair Curlers containing Hydrocarbon Gas
  • Toxic Chemicals
  • Cleaners and Solvents
  • Liquid Bleach/Chlorine
  • Insecticides
  • Wet-Cell/Lithium Batteries
  • Radioactive Material
  • Infectious Substances
  • Adhesives
  • Pepper Spray

  • White goods UN PACKED (IF PACKED THEY ARE ALLOWED)

  • Jewellery (low value costume jewellery can be accepted - worth no more than £50)

  • Pressurised canisters (i.e. hairspray, deodorant, etc)
  • Nail Vanish/ Nail Varnish Remover
  • Christmas Crackers
  • Candles
  • Knives/Swords (NOT KITCHEN EQUIPMENT)
  • Semen/Blood/Lab Samples
  • Magnets
  • Printer Toner Cartridges
All illegal drugs including Khat, are discovered by the police and/or HM Customs all relevant details will be disclosed.
If Khat is found in your shipment, a fine of £100 will be imposed.

Restricted Items

PLEASE NOTE IF RESTRICTED ITEMS ARE FOUND IN ANY SHIPMENT A £110 FINE WILL BE APPLIED FOR REMOVAL AND DISPOSAL AND GOODS MAY BE RETURNED TO THE COLLECTION POINT. 

The following items can be carried but cannot be covered against accidental damage or loss under standard cover, they can be carried under special provision.

 Extra note personal effects are not covered for loss or damage under the goods transit insurance 1/1/2010
 Extra note glass is not covered under CMR insurance and can only be covered under special provision. 9/8/2011
